Terms & Conditions
Welcome to Refresh Plumbing & Gas. These Terms & Conditions govern your use of our website and services. By accessing our website or engaging our plumbing and gas services, you agree to be bound by these terms. Please read them carefully to understand your rights and obligations when dealing with our business.
Services
Refresh Plumbing & Gas provides a wide range of plumbing and gas fitting services to residential and commercial clients across Brisbane and surrounding areas. Our services include general plumbing maintenance, hot water system installation and repairs, blocked drain clearing, leak detection, gas fitting, and emergency plumbing services. All services are subject to availability, and we reserve the right to refuse or decline work where it is unsafe, not compliant with regulations, or outside our scope of expertise. We aim to deliver high-quality workmanship in accordance with Australian standards and industry best practices.
Quotes and Pricing
We strive to provide clear, transparent, and competitive pricing for all our services. Quotes provided are based on the information available at the time of assessment and may be subject to change if additional work or unforeseen issues arise during the job. In some cases, a site inspection may be required before confirming final pricing. Any variations will be discussed with you before proceeding. By accepting a quote, you agree to the pricing and scope of work outlined. All prices are in Australian dollars unless otherwise stated.
Bookings and Appointments
When booking a service with Refresh Plumbing & Gas, you agree to provide accurate and complete information to ensure we can deliver our services efficiently. We will make every effort to attend appointments at the scheduled time; however, delays may occur due to traffic, emergencies, or unforeseen circumstances. We reserve the right to reschedule appointments if necessary, and we will notify you as soon as possible in such cases. Our goal is to provide reliable and timely service while maintaining quality and safety.
Cancellations and Rescheduling
If you need to cancel or reschedule a booking, we request that you provide as much notice as possible. This allows us to adjust our schedule and accommodate other customers. Late cancellations or missed appointments may incur a fee, particularly where time and resources have already been allocated. We reserve the right to charge a call-out fee in such situations. Our team will always aim to be fair and reasonable when handling cancellations.
Customer Responsibilities
Customers are responsible for ensuring that accurate information is provided when requesting services. This includes details about the issue, property access, and any relevant conditions that may affect the work. You must ensure safe and clear access to the work area and notify us of any known hazards, such as asbestos, structural issues, or unsafe conditions. Failure to provide a safe working environment may result in delays or refusal of service until conditions are made safe.
Payments
Payment terms will be discussed and agreed upon prior to the commencement of work. Unless otherwise arranged, payment is required upon completion of the service. We may accept various payment methods for your convenience. Late payments may incur additional charges, including administrative or interest fees where applicable. In the event of non-payment, we reserve the right to take further action to recover outstanding amounts.
Warranties and Workmanship
We take pride in the quality of our work and aim to provide reliable, long-lasting solutions. Our workmanship is carried out in accordance with Australian standards and industry regulations. Where applicable, manufacturer warranties will apply to any parts or products supplied and installed. Our warranty does not cover issues caused by misuse, neglect, normal wear and tear, or work carried out by third parties after our service is completed.
Liability and Limitation
While we take all reasonable care in delivering our services, we are not liable for any loss or damage resulting from circumstances beyond our control. This includes pre-existing issues, hidden faults, or damage caused by external factors. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the cost of the services provided. We are not responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages that may arise from the use of our services.
Emergency Services
We offer emergency plumbing services to address urgent issues such as burst pipes, major leaks, and blocked drains. Response times may vary depending on location, demand, and circumstances. Emergency services may be subject to higher rates due to urgency, after-hours work, or additional resources required. All pricing will be communicated where possible before work begins.
